scan132.jpg,scan133.jpg==Pencil and ink-jet print on paper with transparency for printed text: As with “holey pictures”, a purpose-built computer program downloaded a random Internet image, only here it extracted an oval out of it and then removed exactly half of the resulting image area in the form of stripes, which is how we first saw the image. One of us then “filled in” the missing portions of the image by hand. The paper was finally sliced along the stripe edges allowing for the hand-drawn parts to be separated from the printed parts and reassembled into two distinct images.
